From Two to Many


Our story of Bitkub began in 2018 with only two employees working with our co-founders. At the time, we knew that our success would depend on the people we brought into our company. That’s why we made it a priority to recruit employees who aligned with our core values. From humble beginnings with just two employees, we’ve grown into a thriving company thanks to our unwavering commitment to our core values.


We take great care to ensure that every seat is filled by exceptional people. While it is impossible to completely eliminate risk, there are steps you can take to attract more A-players to the company. Before making an offer, we ask team members to point out at least one area in which the candidate does better than them, with the goal of raising the team's average. We cast a wide net to attract people from many backgrounds, emphasizing both skill sets and cultural fit.


The elements that make up an organization's culture may come from many different sources. The cornerstone of a corporate culture that influences the way we work is set by factors such as the founder of the organization, mission, and vision. It enables us to spend a lot of time working in one place. A crucial component is not only job satisfaction but also our compatibility with the organizational culture.


The corporate culture of Bitkub combines the reliability of a financial institution and the agility of a tech company. Cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and other technologies like AI are among Bitkub's primary products. Because our products are so innovative, we make sure that employees are inspired to take on new challenges and revolutionize the world of finance at the same time.


Living Our Values


With the mission to democratize opportunities for everyone via leading innovations, we are the bridge between the old world and the digital world. The strong foundations are key to such lasting structure, and that is where our core values come in. We prioritize these seven values as the cornerstone of the company's culture. We make sure that these values are clearly defined, widely understood, and consistently upheld throughout our group.


1. Earn Trust: We earn each other’s trust to do what’s best for Bitkub


Trust is the foundation of harmonious connections among Bitkubers and with our stakeholders. We believe in earning one another's trust by constantly acting in the best interests of our company. This involves maintaining transparency, honesty, and consistency in all interactions. At Bitkub, we operate with transparency, taking responsibility for our actions without resorting to blame-shifting. Furthermore, we encourage a culture of curiosity, where posing questions and seeking a deeper understanding are highly valued.


We approach talks with a goal to learn and comprehend, rather than to be right. For example, we are free to talk about the work process or information without hesitation. We maintain a commitment to transparent communication at all levels across the group, ensuring that employees are informed about group goals, strategies, and challenges.


2. Passionate and Dive Deep: With passion, we create amazing things that no one has ever accomplished


Bitkub stands out in the fintech industry as a start-up driven by a passion for technology and an in-depth understanding of businesses. The rapid pace of change in our industry demands a team that is not only passionate about creating innovative products but also possesses a deep expertise in our field.


As we promote a culture of continuous learning and growth, we encourage our Bitkubers to seek out opportunities for personal and professional development. This is exemplified by the establishment of Bitkub Academy which promotes open education for all. We also dedicated a part of Bitkub Academy to ‘Bitkub University’, providing a diverse range of courses designed to support the skill-building and career advancement of our Bitkubers. We believe in empowering our team members to pursue their interests and expand their horizons in areas that ignite their passion.


3. Challenge and Commit: We battle for best ideas and commit to consensus culture


Our determination is set beyond the status quo; we strive to push boundaries and achieve what others might think impossible. As we believe that challenges are blessings in disguise, we approach challenges with a comprehensive mindset, tackling them from all angles to find innovative solutions. We asked questions to stir up different points of view and to inspire additional thought, and we eventually came up with a win-win solution following the discussion.


After we have finished brainstorming ideas, we commit and do our best to the accepted solution, even if our idea doesn't win. This is where our commitment to a consensus culture comes in. We value everyone’s voice and work together to find solutions. 


4. Strive for Results & Actions: We get shit done like a genius


At Bitkub, we're not just results-oriented; we're action-driven. Our focus extends beyond achieving goals; it's about taking decisive actions that lead to impactful results. When facing tight deadlines, we harness our resources with efficiency and creativity, always seeking innovative methods to deliver swiftly without compromising quality. We're always prepared with contingency plans and problem-solving strategies to ensure our tasks reach completion.


We maintain a meritocratic culture where employees are recognized and rewarded based on their contributions and performance. We ensure that opportunities for advancement and recognition are accessible to all employees, regardless of background or identity, celebrating diversity and inclusivity in every success.


5. Ownership & Beyond: We are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve our mission


We share ideas, suggestions, and enthusiasm for helping others, even if it is outside of our direct scope of work or in a grey area. We participate in many initiatives, either directly or indirectly, with many teams, putting our company's success and interests first.


We always work beyond our existing ability and plan ahead to achieve the best level of success for ourselves, our team, and the organization. We foster a culture of empowerment and ownership, where employees feel empowered to take initiative, make decisions, and take ownership of their work and its impact on the company's mission.


A session known as ‘Coffee Chat with C-Level’ provides the opportunity for employees to engage and exchange opinions directly with senior executives. This open dialogue empowers the employees to take ownership of their ideas and contributions, reinforcing our collective commitment to driving success beyond individual roles and responsibilities.


6. Adapt & Innovate: We are here to build a legacy, not here for comfort


We are prepared to adapt to any situation, particularly in unpredictable future circumstances. We learned from our mistakes and shared experiences within our organization. Our group's internal discussions have included a mini-hackathon, an idea challenge, and more. These discussions provide a platform for team members who might not normally have a voice to share their ideas and innovation. We encourage diverse perspectives and voices to drive innovation and excellence.


We welcome new opportunities and are prepared to pivot as needed. There is an initiative called ‘Bitkuber Careers Growth Program’ that encourages employees to find the ideal career path inside our organization. This not only facilitates personal growth but also opens doors for new career opportunities, and empowers them to shine and contribute to our collective legacy.


7. Empathy & Collaboration: We stand in each other’s shoes and work together as #OneBitkub.


Building a successful company requires teamwork. We cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where teams can empathize with each other’s perspectives. At Bitkub, we have an innovative activity called ‘Kuber for Bitkubers’ which serves as a cornerstone in building our strong company culture through gamification using blockchain technology. ‘Kuber for Bitkubers’ allows our employees to freely send coins to anyone in the company to express their appreciation or compliments, earned coins can be collected and exchanged for a variety of prizes. This has fostered a culture of recognition and companionship across all levels of the organization, leading to a positive working atmosphere.


We always respect, compromise, and be reasonable with people, as opposed to criticizing them in public. Negative criticism should often be delivered in private; positive feedback should always be delivered in public. We always collaborate and participate in company activities. We provide resources and support for physical, mental, and emotional health, and encourage a culture where employees feel comfortable prioritizing self-care.

Bitkub Academy, continues to provide financial literacy through initiatives like AMAs, airdrops, and engaging Learn to Earn programs.
