Thailand's Momentum 2026: Trust and Security: A Reliable Bridge in ASEAN

We once lived in a world where countries coexisted under a rules-based order, where every nation regardless of its size and power could still rely on one another. Today, that order is gradually fading, along with the trust that once held us together. At Thailand's Momentum 2026: Trust and Security: A Reliable Bridge in ASEAN, I joined Khun Abhisit Vejjajiva, former Prime Minister of Thailand, Dr. Fuadi Pitsuwan, lecturer at Thammasat University, and Khun Panu Wongcha-um, President of the FCCT and the event's moderator, to exchange perspectives on ASEAN at a time when global geopolitics is increasingly fragile and mutual trust is eroding amid a weakening global order. This is a major challenge that ASEAN countries are currently facing. To restore trust and stability within our region, we must strengthen our cooperation and work more closely together.
