At the World Economic Forum 2026, I had the opportunity to meet H.E. Faisal Alibrahim, the Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Many people still associate Saudi Arabia's growth primarily with energy resources and oil exports. Today, however, the country is undergoing a major strategic shift—from a resource-dependent economy to one driven by technology, innovation, and future industries. This transformation clearly aligns with global changes and the evolving structure of the modern economy.
